Guava and Pear Tart

Ingredients
- 4 quavas
- 4 pears
- 1.5 cups rolled oats
- 1 orange
- 2 tablespoons butter
- ½ teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 120g raw honey
- A handful of Pecan nuts
Method
Filling:
- Chop the pears and quave into small cubes
- In a pan, melt 1 tablespoon butter. And add the chopped guava and pears, 1 tablespoon honey, cinnamon, the juice and zest from the orange.
- Cook until fruit is soft (or desired texture). Stir every few minutes
Crumble topping:
- Combine the oats, the rest of the honey, nutmeg and the rest of the butter in a bowl. Mix until crumbs form.
- Add the nuts and mix in
Place the fruit in an ovenproof baking dish. Cover with the crumble topping and place in the oven for about 30 mins (or until the crumble is golden brown) at 180 degrees C.
For the perfect combination, add some mascarpone cheese (or cream or ice cream).
